Hello, I’m Jo.

I design playful and inclusive fabric collections. I love working with creatives who are into learning how to sew with their fabric, and those who are looking for a fun quilting project.

 

Teaching

I help sewing students turn fabric into treasure, while gushing over their new skills.

Quirky Interests

Like most of you when I'm not designing quilt patterns, quilting, sewing, painting, designing fabrics or quilts, decluttering the kitchen, organizing art supplies, gardening, or reading books, I’m probably thinking about doing all those things.

Well really, I enjoy time at the lake relaxing with the family and friends, a good kayak adventure, or a nice walk with a good podcast - A Quilting Life, Art + Audience, Craft to Career, and The Professional Creative are my current favs.

 

3 Things

If you'd like to know more, here are three things you may not know about me:

1. I work half time at a very fun Early Years Family Resource Centre where families come to play and meet other families.

2. My enneagram number is 1 and I need to declutter and organize to fully relax. That and a cup of peppermint tea.💕

3. My mom was our town’s Kids Can Sew teacher during my childhood in the 80s and 90s. Yes, I made a completely neon outfit. Picture hot pink shorts with an electric yellow boatneck top that I absolutely loved!
