Two Little Hatchlings And Four Eggs Still Waiting
The studio feels different today, not brighter or louder, just fuller.
Like something tiny and sweet settled into the room while I wasn’t looking.
First Hatchling
Yesterday afternoon, right in the middle of a totally ordinary moment, the very first egg hatched.
No warning.
No tapping or cracking.
Just a soft little shift and suddenly, Tala was there.
Warm, small, and curled into herself like she’d always belonged in this space.
She stretched out one little wing and looked up at me as if to say,
“Well… hello.”
My heart absolutely burst. ✨🧡
Second Hatchling
And sometime in the night, while the studio was dark and quiet, the second hatchling arrived.
I found it this morning tucked close to Tala, the two of them nestled together like they’d already decided they were best friends.
It amazes me how quickly the energy changes when new little lives appear even if they’re soft and sewn and tiny.
The whole studio feels gentle today like it’s exhaling.

Little Secrets
And then there are the other four eggs, still sitting patiently in the nest.
No cracks.
No movement.
Just waiting in their own perfect timing.
I keep checking on them throughout the day, but they seem content to hold their secrets for now. There’s something sweet about that too, letting each one take its time.
