All Four Eggs Hatched
A little mystery, a lot of fabric, and four very curious new friends.
If you’ve been following along lately, you know something special has been brewing in the studio. What started as a set of mystery eggs has officially turned into another set with four brand new hatchlings, and they couldn’t have picked a cuter way to arrive.

Each one hatched from the cheerful Hello Alice fabric by Sarah Watts, and let me tell you, waiting to see who would pop out was half the fun. There’s something magical about mystery projects, especially when they combine quilting, storytelling, and just a hint of surprise.
A French Reunion
Right on cue, the toucans in France flew home to meet the little ones. It felt like a proper family reunion with lots of personality, and a bit of chaos. Seeing the hatchlings alongside the toucans made their colors and quirks shine even more, and suddenly the studio happily felt very full and very lively.
A Sewing Adventure Begins
Two of the hatchlings wasted no time jumping straight into adventure mode. They hitched a ride and headed off to a quilt retreat, where they were surrounded by fabric, creativity, and the gentle hum of sewing machines.

I think the hum of the sewing machines made them sleepy. When they weren’t sleeping they were playing in fabric scraps and visiting with some of the girls.

The other two hatchlings decided to take their time and hatched the very next day. Fashionably late but absolutely worth the wait.
Life With the Hatchlings
Now all four are settling in, exploring their surroundings, inspecting fabric choices, and supervising sewing projects like tiny creative directors. The Hello Alice fabric suits them perfectly.

And honestly? This is just the start.
Stay tuned… because these four are just getting started 💕
