Leanne has been quilting more than half her life.
She loves scrap quilts, blender fabrics, and free motion quilting on her Janome 6700 domestic machine.
She also loves combining different techniques in her quilts, so her patterns use a mix of traditional piecing, appliqué, paper piecing, and hand embroidery.
She believes even the smallest scraps can be used to make something beautiful.
She lives in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, and if she's not quilting she's probably reading, baking, hiking or snowshoeing (depending on the season), or strolling along the beach.
Thanks to all the time she spends on the beach, her sea glass and beach rock collections almost rival her fabric collection!
